Individual Therapy
One-on-one support for anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem, and the everyday weight that's harder to carry alone.
Telehealth Therapy ยท Serving Clients Across the US*
I'm Afsaneh Ezzatyar, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) offering secure video sessions for individuals, couples, kids, and families — including EMDR for trauma and stuck patterns. Therapy here is a space to slow down, feel truly heard, and build a clearer path forward.
About
My approach blends warmth with evidence-based care. Whether you're navigating anxiety, a relationship going through a hard season, a family in transition, or working through something that still feels stuck in your body, I aim to create a calm, non-judgmental space where real change can happen.
I work with individuals, couples, kids, and families, and I'm trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for clients working through trauma or patterns that talk therapy alone hasn't fully resolved.

How I can help
One-on-one support for anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem, and the everyday weight that's harder to carry alone.
A guided space to rebuild communication, work through conflict, and reconnect with the partnership you want to have.
Support for children, teens, and family systems navigating conflict, big changes, or simply needing to understand each other better.
A structured, evidence-based approach for processing trauma and distressing memories so they stop running the show.
A closer look
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured therapy approach that helps the brain reprocess distressing or "stuck" memories — the ones that still feel just as raw as the day they happened. Using guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR helps reduce the emotional charge of a memory so it can move from feeling present-tense to genuinely in the past.
It's widely used for trauma, but also for anxiety, phobias, grief, and patterns that traditional talk therapy hasn't fully shifted.
